Important things to keep in mind when thinking about having shoes, boots, skates done…
It is important to remember that shoes, boots, skates etc… are not meant to be painted in the first place….this is just common sense.
However given the popularity of “customized” footwear, nobody seems to care about the longevity of these items…lol… so…our process is as follows. Your shoes, boots, skates are painted with an acrylic based paint but then they are also clear coated with an enamel based clear. While this will help with protecting the shoes against water, there are Absolutely no guarantees since shoes are not meant to be painted. Also keep in mind that we do not recommend painting the rubber bottom(soles) of shoes as this area sees a lot more wear and tear and is more likely to rub off more quickly than any other part of the shoe.
The best way to protect your shoes would be to not wear them during any outrageous activity.
