When thinking about entertainment for a party or special event that has children attending, one of the first things people think of is hiring a face painter. Whether its a Birthday Party, Bar/BatMitzvah, Corporate Event, Arts Event or pretty much any event that there will be children attending a great alternative to face painting is temporary airbrushed tattoos. They are always a great hit for kids and adults. We can even customize some of the tattoos to gear them towards the event.
One advantage of the tattoos over face painting is that since they can be done on any part of the body(including the face) and since they are much quicker then a face paint, you get more for your money. Think about it, you only have one face, so once a kid gets his face painted the “entertainment” is all over for him or her. While with tattoos Kids(and adults) are able to get as many as they want(and trust us….they do…lol). We even have Glitter tattoos which are very popular for the girls.
As far as lasting?….Airbrushed tattoos are much better when it comes to active kids, they won’t smear or rub off if a kid is jumping and running around. They also won’t get on clothing. This alone makes it much more appealing, especially to those parents who are concerned with their over active child.
Another advantage is that adults love getting them just as much as kids. Many times kids and their parents get matching tattoos. So if you were just thinking about entertainment for the kids, temporary tattoos offers you an alternative that includes the adults at no extra charge. It is even a fun way for adults to "“experiment” with getting a real tattoo. Many adults have thought about it but are afraid of the “commitment” of a real tattoo. With airbrushed tattoos, you can see what its like to have a tattoo in the spot you have always wanted, yet wash it off as soon as you get home or if you decide you like the tattoo, you can change the tattoo weekly…lol
For the corporate side of this alternative, airbrushed tattoos are a great addition for “branding” and marketing events, trade shows and expos. Special stencils can be made of a company logo or similar icon that can then be sprayed onto the guests and you automatically have walking billboards, and the tattoos can last for days(if desired). This makes it a great idea to have a temporary airbrush tattoo artist at your booth during trade shows as a way to attract people to your booth to get a free tattoo of your logo or any tattoo in general.
At Anything Airbrushed plus, our display is made up of over 200 family friendly designs for guests to choose from. They can be done with long lasting makeup(7-10 days) or with waterbased makeup that can be washed off quickly. This makes it great for one day events or multiple day events. As we said above, we can also make custom stencils to match the theme of the event.
The set up is also simple. A table with a chair and access to an electrical plug is all that a temporary tattoo artist needs to be ready to entertain your guests for hours.
As we said above, tattoos can last anywhere from 1-10 days depending on the make-up we use. For most kid parties we use the water based make-up which will last a day or two and can be washed off with soap and water. For other events where someone wants the tattoo to last longer, we use the alcohol based make-up which can last 5-7 days or longer depending on how well you take care of it. Speaking of taking care of it, simply avoid touching it when the body is wet or sweaty. The alcohol based make up is waterproof but it is venerable to rubbing off when the body is wet. When the body is dry…it will not come off. To remove an alcohol based tattoo you can simply scrub harder with soap and water or use rubbing alcohol, make-up wipes or baby oil to get off the more stubborn areas.
So the next time you are planning an event, keep in mind the versatility of the airbrush and the many different ways it can be used to add that special “artistic touch” for any event.
